MILLWA's Wendefäustlinge
MILLWA's Wendefäustlinge sind ein ganz besonderes Accessoire für 'Frierkatzen': gefertigt aus extra dicker, reiner Alpaka (Babyalpaka)-Faser, doppelseitig gestrickt und dadurch komplett wendbar, behält hiermit keiner mehr kalte Finger. Der bequeme Sitz und die unglaubliche Weichheit machen diese Wendefäustlinge sehr beliebt.
Auch die Wendefäustlinge aus der MILLWA-Kollektion wurden von unseren Strickerinnen im Hochland Perus in Heimarbeit handgestrickt. Durch diese Arbeit können sie von zu Hause aus einen Beitrag zum Familieneinkommen leisten.
Alpakafaser zählt zu den feinsten und wärmsten Naturfasern, die es auf der Welt gibt. Sie ist ähnlich weich wie Kaschmir, hält dafür aber bis zu 7x wärmer als herkömmliche Schafswolle.

MILLWA's reversible mitons are a very special accessoire for 'frozen fingers': made from especially thick, pure alpaca (babyalpaca) fibre, doubleface knitted and therefore completely reversible - even the coldest hands will get warm with them. Due to their comfortable fitting and their incerdible softness they are very popular.
Also the reversible mitons of the MILLWA collection are handknitted in homework by the knitters in the highlands of the Peruvian Andes. Because of this work in their homes, the women can contribute to the family income.
Alpaca fibre is one of the finest and warmest naturals fibres in the world. It is similar as soft as cashmere bt keeps upt to 7x warmer than common sheep wool.

Pulswärmer/fingerl. miton DOPPELZOPF
Unsere Alpaka-Pulswärmer DOPPELZOPF sind ganz besonders dick und warm. Sie wurden mit dickem Faden im rustikalen Zopfmuster gefertigt und haben einen kleinen Daumenansatz. Durch ihre Länge können diese Pulswärmer bis unter den Jackenärmel getragen werden ohne ständig zu verrutschen. Ein zeitloser Klassiker für kalte Wintertage.
Die Pulswärmer DOPPELZOPF wurde - wie die Mehrheit alle unserer MILLWA-Accessoires - von unseren Strickerinnen im Hochland Perus in Heimarbeit gefertigt. Hierbei berücksichtigen wir die gültigen Prinzipien der Nachhaltigkeit und des Fair Trade.
Alpaka-Faser ist dafür bekannt, eine der edelsten Fasern der Welt zu sein. Man sagt, sie hält bis zu 7-mal wärmer als Schafwolle, ist leicht wie Gänsedaunen und so weich wie Kaschmir. Probieren Sie es einfach selbst aus!

Alpaca fibre is famous to be one of the most exclusive fibres in the world: it is said that it keeps up to 7 times warmer than common sheep wool, it is as light as goosedown and as soft as cashmere. Just try it on by yourself!

Kapuzen-Handschuhe/hoody gloves MERIDA, Farbe/colour: weiß/white eco
Dieses besonders warme, handgearbeitete Modell MERIDA besticht durch seine einzigartige Funktionalität: Halblange angesetzte Finger wärmen die Hand und erlauben doch jegliche Arbeit mit den Fingern. Wenn das nicht reicht, klappt man einfach die Kapuze drüber und selbst die Fingerkuppen sind mollig warm. Extravagantes Detail ist die Extra-Klappe am Daumen für alle Handy-Aktionen.
Wie viele unserer Produkte wurden diese Handschuhe mit viel Liebe in Handarbeit bei unseren Strickerinnen zu Hause gefertigt. Selbstverständlich wurde hier nur reine Alpakawolle verwendet.
Alpakawolle funktioniert ähnlich wie eine Klimaanlage auf der Haut - sie speichert bei Kälte die Körperwärme und gibt sie bei Wärme wieder ab. Zudem besitzt Alpakawolle von Natur aus kein Lanolin, weshalb Produkte aus dieser Faser auch von Allergikern und bei Neurodermitis getragen werden können. Aufgrund der geringen Micronzahl ist sie deutlich feiner und weicher und hält doch bis zu 7x wärmer als herkömmliche Schafwolle.

If this is not enough, just put on the hood and all the rest is warm, too. Extravagant detail is the separate hood for the thumbs for all people using a lot their cellphone.

One of our favourite modells are these fingerless miton ROLLITOS & BOTONCITOS. Simply flat knitted, with small rolls at the end and finally decorated with small wooden buttons they become a very decorative accessoire.

Die Handschuhe GITTERNETZ sind ein besonders dekoratives Handschuhmodell mit Gittermuster auf dem Handrücken. Die Finger und die Handfläche sind im Patentmuster gestrickt, so dass sich diese Handschuhe flexibel allen Bewegungen anpassen. Dieses Modell ist eher für Damen geeignet.
Wie der Großteil der kompletten MILLWA-Produktion, wurden auch diese Alpaka-Handschuhe von den Strickerinnen im Hochland Perus in Heimarbeit gefertigt. Die Frauen, die keinen gelernten Beruf haben, können mit dieser Arbeit von zu Hause aus einen erheblichen Beitrag zum Familieneinkommen leisten.
Die Firma MILLWA produziert Accessoires, die zum großen Teil aus reiner Babyalpaka-Faser bestehen - so auch bei diesem Modell: gefertigt in 100% Babyalpaka - je nach Farbe sogar in ECO-Qualität (=ungefärbt, ungebleicht). Babyalpaka-Faser ist ganz besonders weich und angenehm auf der Haut zu tragen. Sie gibt unglaublich warm ohne irgendeinen Hitzestau zu verursachen.

The GITTERNETZ gloves are a particularly decorative glove model with a grid pattern on the back of the hand. The fingers and the palm are knitted in a patent pattern so that these gloves adapt flexibly to all movements. This model is more suitable for women.
Like most of the entire MILLWA production, these alpaca gloves were also made at home by the knitters in the highlands of Peru. The women who do not have a skilled profession can make a significant contribution to the family income with this work from home.
The MILLWA company produces accessories that are largely made of pure baby alpaca fiber - this is also the case with this model: made in 100% baby alpaca - depending on the color, even in ECO quality (= undyed, unbleached). Baby alpaca fiber is particularly soft and comfortable to wear on the skin. It is incredibly warm without causing any heat build-up.

Extremely soft, extremely light weight, extremely fluffy and unbelievable popular: our handknittes fingerless miton CRESPOS are an indispensable accessoire for the cold season: Flat knitted from decorative alpaca bouclé yarn, only the edges are knitted in a tighter rice corn pattern. Due to its flexible caracteristics of alpaca bouclé yarn, these fingerless miton do fit to nearly all handfroms and handsizes.

Auch dieses Paar Handschuhe wurde von unseren Strickerinnen im Hochland Perus in Heimarbeit von Hand gestrickt und zeugt von der unglaublichen Handarbeitskunst der andinen Bevölkerung. Freie Zeiteinteilung und Bezahlung nach dem Fair Trade-Prinzip sind für uns hierbei die Grundprinzipien, um der andinen Bevölkerung zu helfen.

Babyalpaka zählt zu den seltensten und feinsten Fasern auf der Welt und ist bekannt für seine herausragenden Trageeigenschaften: sie gibt unglaublich warm ohne einen Hitzestau zu verursachen, ist unglaublich leicht und kann sogar - aufgrund des Fehlens des Lanolins in der Faser - von Wollallergikern getragen werden.
