Alpakafaser zählt zu den wertvollsten und seltensten Naturfasern auf der Welt. Sie gibt unglaublich warm, ist jedoch zugleich atmungsaktiv und gibt ein Zuviel an Wärme wieder nach aussen ab. So entsteht bspw. kein Hitzestau. Hinzu kommt, dass diese Naturfaser unglaublich weich ist, am ehesten vergleichbar Kaschmir.

Alpaca fibre counts to be one of the rarest and most valuable fibres in the world. It keeps incredibly warm, but are also breathable and leave out a "TOO MUCH" of heat in order to prevent heat accumulation. Additionally this natural fibre is incredibly soft, mostly comparable to cashmere.

Alpaka-Faser, und noch mehr Babyalpaka-Faser, wie in diesem Fall, zählt zu den edelsten und seltensten Fasern auf der Welt. Sie ist ganz besonders weich, hält besonders warm und ist auch von Woll-Allergikern gut verträglich, da die Faser von Natur aus kein Lanolin enthält.

Also this modell has been handmade in homework by our knitters in the highlands of the Andes. We work with our knitters under Fair-Trade-Principles, which allows them to contribute in a significant way to the family income.
Alpca fibre and even more babyalpaca fibre, like in this case, counts to be one of the finest and rarest fibres in the world. It is esecially soft, keeps you gently warm and can also be worn by wool allergic people because by nature this fibre does not contain lanoline.

Die weichen Schuheinlagen PREMIUM sind aus sorgfältig ausgewähltem Babyalpakafell hergestellt. Möchten Sie auch im Winter nicht auf Ihre Lieblingsschuhe verzichten? Die Einlegesohlen eignen sich perfekt dafür nicht winterfeste Schuhe winterfest zu machen. Und auch Winterstiefel, die nicht warm genug halten, oder von unten nicht gut genug gefüttert sind, können mit diesen Schuheinlagen wärmer gemacht werden.
Die Sohlen lassen sich leicht und schnell in Schuhe legen und wieder herausnehmen. Außerdem ist die Rückseite aus Leder, wodurch die Sohlen einerseits gut isolieren und andererseits auch nicht verrutschen. Alpakafell ist bekannt für seine herausragenden isolierenden Thermoeigenschaften. Das bedeutet, dass Sie auf diesen Sohlen nicht nur angenehm weich stehen, sondern Ihre Füße angenehm warm gehalten werden, ohne dass Sie zu sehr schwitzen. The insoles are perfect for winterizing non-winterized shoes. And even winter boots that don't keep you warm enough or aren't lined well enough from below can be made warmer with these shoe inserts.
The soles can be put in and taken out of shoes quickly and easily. In addition, the back is made of leather, which means that the soles insulate well on the one hand and do not slip on the other. Alpaca fur is known for its outstanding thermal insulation properties. This means that you are not only pleasantly soft on these soles, but your feet are kept pleasantly warm without you sweating too much. And if your feet do sweat, the natural lambskin absorbs moisture so your feet don't get wet.

MILLWA's Wendefäustlinge sind ein ganz besonderes Accessoire für 'Frierkatzen': gefertigt aus extra dicker, reiner Alpaka (Babyalpaka)-Faser, doppelseitig gestrickt und dadurch komplett wendbar, behält hiermit keiner mehr kalte Finger. Der bequeme Sitz und die unglaubliche Weichheit machen diese Wendefäustlinge sehr beliebt.
Auch die Wendefäustlinge aus der MILLWA-Kollektion wurden von unseren Strickerinnen im Hochland Perus in Heimarbeit handgestrickt. Durch diese Arbeit können sie von zu Hause aus einen Beitrag zum Familieneinkommen leisten.

Due to their comfortable fitting and their incerdible softness they are very popular.
Also the reversible mitons of the MILLWA collection are handknitted in homework by the knitters in the highlands of the Peruvian Andes. Because of this work in their homes, the women can contribute to the family income.

Durch ihre Länge können diese Pulswärmer bis unter den Jackenärmel getragen werden ohne ständig zu verrutschen. Ein zeitloser Klassiker für kalte Wintertage.
Die Pulswärmer DOPPELZOPF wurde - wie die Mehrheit alle unserer MILLWA-Accessoires - von unseren Strickerinnen im Hochland Perus in Heimarbeit gefertigt. Hierbei berücksichtigen wir die gültigen Prinzipien der Nachhaltigkeit und des Fair Trade.

Wie viele unserer Produkte wurden diese Handschuhe mit viel Liebe in Handarbeit bei unseren Strickerinnen zu Hause gefertigt. Selbstverständlich wurde hier nur reine Alpakawolle verwendet.
Alpakawolle funktioniert ähnlich wie eine Klimaanlage auf der Haut - sie speichert bei Kälte die Körperwärme und gibt sie bei Wärme wieder ab. Zudem besitzt Alpakawolle von Natur aus kein Lanolin, weshalb Produkte aus dieser Faser auch von Allergikern und bei Neurodermitis getragen werden können. Aufgrund der geringen Micronzahl ist sie deutlich feiner und weicher und hält doch bis zu 7x wärmer als herkömmliche Schafwolle.

Like many of our products, also these gloves were handmade by our knitters in homework and of course we only used pure alpaca wool.
Alpaca wool works similar to an air condition on your skin - it stores your bodie's heat when it is cold and gives it off when it is warm. Additionally alpaca wool does not possess Lanolin - therefore products of this fibre can also be used by allergic people or people suffering neurodermatitis. Die to its low microns it is much thinner and smoother and keeps you up to 7 times warmer than common sheep wool.

Alpakawolle in ihrer reinen Qualität ist ganz besonders weich und anschmiegsam und hält deutlich wärmer als herkömmliche Schafwolle. Sie funktioniert ähnlich wie eine Klimaanlage auf der Haut: die eigene Körperwärme wird bei Kälte konstant gehalten, bei Wärme wird das Zuviel davon wieder nach außen abgegeben. Es ensteht somit kein Hitzestau wie bei vielen Kunstfasern. Dies ist auch der Grund, warum Alpakawolle hervorragend für jegliche Art von Wintersport geeignet ist.

One of our favourite modells are these fingerless miton ROLLITOS & BOTONCITOS. Simply flat knitted, with small rolls at the end and finally decorated with small wooden buttons they become a very decorative accessoire.
Also this piece of the MILLWA-production was made from the knitters in the highlands of the Peruvian Andes in homework considering fair trade principles.

Unser Verkaufsschlager: Das Babyalpaka-Stirnband GITTERNETZ gehört zur gleichnamigen Serie mit passender Mütze und Handschuhen. Das aufwendige Gitternetzmuster ist besonders dicht und lässt keinen Wind an die Ohren.
Das Stirnband GITTERNETZ ist ein weiteres Beispiel der hervorragenden Handarbeitskunst der andinen Bevölkerung. Auch hier wurde jedes Stück in Heimarbeit von unseren Strickerinnen im Hochland Perus gefertigt.
Gefertigt wurden diese Stirnbänder aus reiner Babyalpakafaser (je nach Farbe auch in ECO-Qualität, d.h. ungefärbt, ungebleicht), welche eine der feinsten und wärmsten Fasern der Welt ist.

Alpaka ist eine herausragende Naturfaser mit sehr vielen unvergleichlichen Eigenschaften: sie ist besonders leicht, ähnlich weich wie Kaschmir und hält bis zu 7x wärmer als herkömmliche Schafwolle. Zumal funktioniert sie ähnlich wie eine "Klimaanlage" auf der Haut: Körperwärme wird gespeichert, ein Zuviel an Wärme wird jedoch nach außen abgegeben, weshalb kein Hitzestau entsteht wie bspw. bei vielen Kunstfasern.

Alpaca is a very special natural fibre with many uncomparable characteristics: is is epecially light, similar as smooth as cashmere and keeps up to 7times warmer than common sheep wool. Additionally it work like an "air condition" on your skin: the bodie's heat is maintained, but to much heat will be carried out. So it cannot accure a heat accumulation like with so many artificial fibres.

The GITTERNETZ gloves are a particularly decorative glove model with a grid pattern on the back of the hand. The fingers and the palm are knitted in a patent pattern so that these gloves adapt flexibly to all movements. This model is more suitable for women.
Like most of the entire MILLWA production, these alpaca gloves were also made at home by the knitters in the highlands of Peru. The women who do not have a skilled profession can make a significant contribution to the family income with this work from home.
The MILLWA company produces accessories that are largely made of pure baby alpaca fiber - this is also the case with this model: made in 100% baby alpaca - depending on the color, even in ECO quality (= undyed, unbleached). Baby alpaca fiber is particularly soft and comfortable to wear on the skin. It is incredibly warm without causing any heat build-up.
